I am Mom. I live with my love, Mr. Mom, our nine children and a dog in a lovely yellow house. I am a homemaker. Mr. Mom doesn't like that job description as he thinks it sounds like I build houses, which I don't. I build people.
I have been Mom for about 20 years. It's a great job. I am my own boss and I work with the best people in the whole world! The hours are sort of consuming, though. 24/7 with no "holidays". I don't mind, though, because if I had holidays I would want to spend them with the people I work with: Mr. Mom and the gang.
Mr. Mom has been my love since our first date. He loves his job. Lots of diversity with a little bit of travel, interesting coworkers and just enough vacation.
Queen is our eldest. She is spunky, loves writing and is a leader in our home.
Nameless One is our first boy. He is smart, funny and loving. He is the ultimate eldest brother.
Lightning is full of passion. She is quick and warm - easy to love and get along with.
Dragonfly is our gentle soul. She loves being with people but is just a little shy.
Legolos is an angel. Helpful, eager to please. He is easy to love.
Sunbeam is just what a little girl should be - cheerful, good and kind.
Super hero is a bundle of energy but is always ready to help!
Thing 1 and Thing 2 are tornadoes of energy - cuddling, destroying or exploring it with passion!
Shark bait is our dog. She likes to bark and lick faces. Usually in that order.
As for me, I am Wife and Mom. I love both roles but here I will mostly write about the second. Welcome to The Secret Life of Super Mom or How to Change 4,000 Diapers and Keep Smiling.
